FieldVibe vs ProTakip: Why Carpet Cleaners Choose ProTakip

A scheduling app with monthly reminder caps against 22 years of carpet-cleaning software: FieldVibe's real yearly cost, what its users complain about, and why small rug-cleaning teams choose ProTakip. ProTakip: $20 a month, unlimited users, first three months free.

ProTakip's team has been building software for carpet-cleaning businesses for 22 years. We started before smartphones existed, putting order software on bank POS terminals so crews could take an order and print a receipt for the customer right at the door. Today the same team ships one app for Android, iPhone and the web. In FieldVibe vs ProTakip, that history is the first difference: this is the only trade we build for. ProTakip is carpet cleaning software and cleaning business software: order, customer and payment tracking for carpet, rug and upholstery cleaning businesses, also used by dry cleaners and home and office cleaning teams.

FieldVibe is a scheduling and field-service app from a Romanian developer, aimed at solo operators and small crews, sold as a free one-user, one-device plan plus two paid tiers with monthly caps on automated reminders.

The decisive difference in one sentence: FieldVibe is an appointment calendar with a reminder allowance, while ProTakip runs the whole pickup, wash, ready and delivery loop of a carpet business, messages your customers automatically at every stage, and charges one flat fee of $20 a month for unlimited users with no contract.

Everything below is as of September 2026: FieldVibe's prices come from its website, and its ratings and review excerpts from the public Google Play and App Store listings. If you are still at the shortlist stage, our guide on how to choose carpet cleaning software covers the questions to ask any vendor.

What FieldVibe offers

FieldVibe is a mobile scheduling app for field-service businesses: a job calendar, a client list with addresses on a map, and WhatsApp or SMS reminders to customers. Its paid plans add automated reminders, quotes, invoices, online payments and time and revenue tracking. It is priced as a free Solo plan for one user on one device, plus two paid tiers billed monthly or annually.

What FieldVibe really costs in 2026

Prices as published on FieldVibe's website in September 2026, turned into the cash that actually leaves your bank account each year:

Some older reviews mention a price "per service person" of around $19 a month, which does not match the current published Crews plan, so check the pricing page on the day you sign up. At 150 reminders a month outside North America, a Solo Pro user sending a booking confirmation and a day-before reminder covers roughly 75 jobs before hitting the ceiling. What happens beyond the allowance, and what payment processing costs, was not verified.

Worked example: an owner with four field staff in the UK. Both Solo plans are single-user, so this team needs Crews: $600 a year on monthly billing or $450 paid up front for the year. Outside North America that buys 400 automated reminders a month. With two messages per job, that is about 200 jobs a month for five people before the automation runs out — around 40 jobs each.

On ProTakip the same team pays one flat fee of $20 a month ($240 a year) with unlimited users and every feature included, signs no annual contract and no setup fee, can cancel any month, and pays nothing for the first three months. For what to charge your own customers, see our carpet cleaning pricing guide.

What FieldVibe users complain about in their reviews

The complaints in the FieldVibe reviews we sampled cluster around two themes: stability and missing features. Several reviewers report crashes or lost data:

"Not even 20 minutes in and it's non-stop crashing." — Google Play review

An App Store reviewer running a team said a bug stopped them adding jobs because the app believed they were still clocked into another one, and another warned about schedules disappearing. A reviewer who paid for extra reminders reported that automated sending "suddenly stopped" and they had to send each one by hand. Text confirmations were a sore point for one Google Play reviewer too:

"Shows an error code every time I try to send my clients a text confirmation." — Google Play review

Feature requests matter for cleaners: one reviewer wrote that "each residence has a different price due to size", and that the app prices services rather than saving prices per customer. Others asked for photos that stay in the client record and easier rescheduling. A reviewer also objected that you cannot add a client without a phone number:

"Can't add client without phone number" — Google Play review

Why carpet cleaners choose ProTakip

22 years, carpet only. ProTakip is not a general job calendar with a carpet-cleaning page added for marketing. Our team has built software for carpet-cleaning businesses for 22 years, starting on bank POS terminals so crews could print a receipt at the customer's door. ProTakip is a carpet and upholstery cleaning program, also used by dry cleaners and home and office cleaning companies; it is not aimed at tree work, lawn care or handyman trades, and it does not pretend to be.

One full app everywhere. The owner in the office, the driver in the van and the helper in the workshop use the same app on Android, iPhone or the web, with the same version released on the same day. No lite version, 26 languages.

Work that is done at the door.

Customers stop calling to ask "is my rug ready?" ProTakip sends SMS and WhatsApp messages automatically at every order stage, SMS works for international customers too, and each customer gets a tracking link. Our guide to customer notifications over WhatsApp shows how businesses use this.

Know who is calling on Android before you answer. With ProTakip's Caller ID on Android, a card shows the caller's name, address, notes, balance and open orders before you pick up — even with the app closed and no signal, because the customer list lives on the phone. In the office, a USB caller-ID device or switchboard integration brings the pop-up to the computer.

A price that does not punish growth. One flat monthly fee, unlimited users, every feature included, no annual contract, no setup fee, no per-technician charge. Your data is yours, our team migrates it for you free, and live people answer support chat in the app.

Rated by the people who use it. ProTakip is rated 5.0 on Google Play (37 reviews) and 4.98 on the App Store (46 ratings) as of September 2026, and every written review in both stores is five stars. More on our carpet cleaning software page. Start free for three months — no credit card.

Head-to-head: the five differences that decide FieldVibe vs ProTakip

ProTakip comes out ahead on each of the five points below for a small carpet-cleaning business; each one ends with what it means for your crew.

1. A limited free plan versus a full free start

FieldVibe's Solo plan is free with no end date, but only for one person on one device, sending every reminder by hand. ProTakip's first three months are free with every feature switched on, automatic messages running and your whole team on board, with no card required.

2. Reminder caps versus stage-by-stage notifications

On FieldVibe's paid plans, automated reminders are a monthly allowance: 150 per month outside the US and Canada on Solo Pro, 400 on Crews. ProTakip sends SMS and WhatsApp automatically as each order changes stage, from pickup confirmation to "ready" to "out for delivery", and gives the customer a tracking link. ProTakip does not publish a per-plan reminder allowance of the FieldVibe kind, so ask how SMS is billed in your country.

3. Appointments versus the pickup-and-delivery loop

In FieldVibe a job is a visit at an address and a time. Rug work is different: the item leaves the home for days. ProTakip tracks each order through received, in wash, ready and delivered, with separate pickup and delivery lists and optimised routes for the van, and prices by the square metre — the exact gap one FieldVibe reviewer described with "each residence has a different price due to size". Our guide to delivery scheduling and route planning goes into more detail.

4. Caller ID that works without signal

We could not verify any Caller ID in FieldVibe. ProTakip's Caller ID on Android shows who is calling, what they owe and which of their orders are in the wash before you answer, even when the phone has no data. You greet the customer by name and answer "is it ready?" at once.

5. Labels, photos and receipts at the door

We could not verify label printing or Bluetooth printers in FieldVibe, and one reviewer said photos did not always stay in the client file. ProTakip attaches photos to each order, prints QR labels and receipts on a Bluetooth thermal printer from the phone. That is how you return the right rug and win the "it was already damaged" conversation.

Why ProTakip is the best FieldVibe alternative for a small carpet-cleaning business

ProTakip is carpet cleaning software and cleaning business software for one-to-fifteen-person teams; this is why it is the best FieldVibe alternative for that business.

If you run a carpet, rug, upholstery or dry cleaning business where items are collected, cleaned and delivered back, or a home cleaning business with a team, ProTakip is built for exactly your day. Twenty-two years on this one trade shows in the details: square-metre pricing, numbered QR labels, photos at pickup, receipts at the door, optimised van routes.

We keep your customers informed automatically by SMS and WhatsApp at every stage, including international customers, and we put their name, balance and open orders on your Android screen before you answer — even with no signal. Your whole team uses the same full app on Android, iPhone and the web, and a new helper is one invitation code away, not a plan upgrade.

FieldVibe lists in-app card payments on its paid plans; with ProTakip you take payment your own way and the cash register, balances and receivables are tracked for you. No reminder counter, no single-device limit. You pay one flat monthly fee for unlimited users, you sign no contract, and the first three months are free.

If you are also weighing other options, see our comparisons of ServiceM8 vs ProTakip, Jobber vs ProTakip, Breezeworks vs ProTakip and Contractor+ vs ProTakip, or see all comparisons. FieldVibe's own plans are described on its official website.

A note from the founder. We built ProTakip for carpet-cleaning owners tired of paying for every new hire and fighting menus made for other trades. No sales pitch: use it free for three months with your whole team, no card needed. If it works for you, it is $20 a month. If it doesn't, you leave, and your data is yours.

Start free for three months, no card required: download ProTakip and run your next week of orders on it — the same full app on Android, iPhone and web, unlimited users, no contract.

Switching from FieldVibe to ProTakip without losing your client list

Moving to ProTakip does not mean starting from zero. Our team imports your customer list and job history for you, free of charge, wherever FieldVibe lets you export them. Run both apps side by side for two weeks, new orders going into ProTakip. Once your team is comfortable, cancel the old subscription. The first three months are free, so the changeover costs nothing. Step-by-step advice is in our guide to switching carpet cleaning software and migrating your data.

Frequently asked questions about FieldVibe vs ProTakip

How much does FieldVibe cost compared with ProTakip?

According to FieldVibe's website (September 2026), Solo is free for one user on one device, Solo Pro is $20 a month ($15 billed annually) and Crews is $50 a month ($37.50 billed annually) with unlimited users. In yearly cash that is $240 or $180 up front for Solo Pro, and $600 or $450 up front for Crews, with monthly caps on automated reminders. ProTakip is one flat subscription of $20 a month ($240 a year) with unlimited users and every feature, no contract and no setup fee, and the first three months cost nothing.

Is FieldVibe or ProTakip better for carpet and rug cleaning?

ProTakip. First, it is built around the carpet-cleaning loop: every rug is tracked through pickup, wash, ready and delivery, priced per square metre, photographed at pickup and labelled with a QR code printed on a Bluetooth printer, so the right rug goes back to the right house. Second, customers are messaged automatically by SMS and WhatsApp at every stage and get a tracking link, and your whole team uses the same full app on Android, iPhone and web for one flat fee. It comes from a team that has built carpet-cleaning software for 22 years.

Is FieldVibe really free?

FieldVibe's Solo plan is a permanent free plan with unlimited jobs and clients, limited to one user on a single device. Reminders on the free plan are sent manually by you through WhatsApp or SMS. Automated reminders, multiple devices, quotes, invoices and online payments start with the paid Solo Pro plan, according to FieldVibe's website in September 2026. ProTakip's first three months are free with every feature switched on and your whole team included, and no credit card is needed.

Can I move my data from FieldVibe to ProTakip?

Yes. The ProTakip team handles data migration for you, free of charge, including customer lists and order history where they can be exported. You can keep FieldVibe running while you test ProTakip during the first three free months, then switch over once your team is comfortable. No credit card is needed to start.

Does ProTakip have a limit on automated reminders like FieldVibe?

FieldVibe publishes monthly automated-reminder allowances per plan: 400 (US and Canada) or 150 (global) on Solo Pro, and 1,000 or 400 on Crews. ProTakip does not publish a per-plan reminder allowance of that kind; SMS and WhatsApp notifications go out automatically at each order stage, and SMS works for international customers too. Ask how SMS is billed in your country when you request pricing.

FieldVibe is a trademark of its respective owner. ProTakip is not affiliated with or endorsed by FieldVibe. Competitor pricing and ratings are as published on the vendor's website or app stores on 27 September 2026 and may change.
