ProTakip's team has been writing software for carpet-cleaning businesses for 22 years. App ratings and review counts were pulled from Google Play and the Apple App Store on 27 September 2026, together with a sample of recent reviews, so the "what users complain about" sections quote real customers, with attribution.
The three questions that decide it
- What leaves your pocket in a year? A tool that says "$79.99 a month" usually means "$960 up front, for one login". Add four helpers at $15–65 a seat and the same tool costs two to four times that. ProTakip is one flat fee of $20 a month with unlimited users, no annual contract, and the first three months free.
- Is the phone app the real product, or a cut-down version of the office software? Several well-known products have an excellent iPhone app and a weak Android app, or a desktop system with a technician app bolted on. The store ratings in every table show it. Switching takes two weeks, not two months
The fear of losing customer history keeps more people on bad software than any feature does. The ProTakip team imports your customer list, addresses, phone numbers and past jobs from a spreadsheet export or directly from the old program; you run both systems side by side for a couple of weeks; then you stop paying for the old one.
