ProTakip's team has built software for carpet-cleaning businesses for 22 years. We started before smartphones existed, putting carpet-cleaning software on bank POS terminals so crews could take an order and print a receipt for the customer at the door. Today the same team ships one app for Android, iPhone and the web, used by carpet, rug, upholstery and dry-cleaning businesses. If you are weighing CleanCloud vs ProTakip, you are comparing two very different kinds of software. ProTakip is carpet cleaning software and cleaning business software: order, customer and payment tracking for carpet, rug and upholstery cleaning businesses, also used by dry cleaners and home and office cleaning teams.
CleanCloud is a counter-first point-of-sale system for dry cleaners and laundries, with customer and driver apps, priced by the number of orders you process each month.
The decisive difference: CleanCloud is built around the shop counter and puts pickup and delivery on its higher plans, while ProTakip is built around the phone and the van, with every feature, including delivery, route optimisation and Caller ID, on one flat fee of $20 a month with unlimited users, no contract and the first three months free. Everything below is as of September 2026: published or reported prices, app-store ratings pulled on 27 September 2026, and a sample of real store reviews. For the wider market, see our guide to dry cleaning management software.

CleanCloud vs ProTakip at a glance

What CleanCloud offers
According to CleanCloud's website (September 2026), every plan includes the POS, unlimited stations, unlimited staff and unlimited customers, iOS and Android customer apps, invoicing, basic marketing and a hosted website. Pro adds pickup and delivery, route optimisation, a driver app, subscriptions and Uber and DoorDash integrations. Grow adds automated marketing, automated review requests, automated invoicing and API access. Grow+ adds a branded customer app and a dedicated account manager.
What CleanCloud really costs in 2026
CleanCloud charges by how many orders you process each month, not by how many people use it. As published and reported in September 2026, with the yearly cash cost:
- Lite – about $99 a month, about $1,188 a year, up to 500 orders a month, month-to-month. No pickup and delivery tools.
- Pro – about $129 a month, about $1,548 a year, up to 2,000 orders a month, month-to-month. First plan with pickup and delivery, the driver app and route optimisation.
- Grow – about $189 a month, about $2,268 a year, up to 3,000 orders a month, month-to-month.
- Grow+ – about $335 a month, about $4,020 a year, up to 10,000 orders a month, with a minimum 12-month commitment, so the full $4,020 is committed for the year.
Some sources report a lower $75–$125 range, and annual billing is reported to save up to 20%, so check the current figure with CleanCloud before you sign. Extras are billed separately: SMS credits, “Journey” credits for automated customer journeys, custom branded app fees, and hardware from CleanCloud's shop.
A worked example. An owner with four field staff who collect and deliver from customers' homes needs the driver app and route optimisation, so Lite is out. Pro costs about $1,548 a year, before SMS credits, Journey credits and any hardware. Want the branded app and an account manager? That is Grow+ at about $4,020, locked in for twelve months.
The same team on ProTakip pays one flat fee of $20 a month ($240 a year) with unlimited users and every feature, pickup and delivery lists, route optimisation, GPS tracking and Caller ID included from day one. No contract on any plan, cancel any month, and the first three months cost nothing.

What CleanCloud users complain about, and who is writing the reviews
Many CleanCloud reviews come from end consumers of laundries, not from business owners. CleanCloud's customer app is how shoppers order pickups from their local cleaner, so a large share of one-star reviews describe a laundry's service rather than the software a shop runs on, so the 4.5 says little about the app your staff would use. In our sample of 197 Google Play reviews, 39 were one-star and 127 five-star.
The consumer complaints cluster around missed pickups, delivery timing and account setup:
“I scheduled a laundry pickup and placed my laundry bag outside my apartment door the night before, exactly as instructed.” — Google Play review, sampled September 2026
“I picked the wrong laundromat… when I signed up and can't change it now.” — App Store review, sampled September 2026
Some points matter to you as an operator, because they become phone calls at your counter. Reviewers report confusion over when payment is taken, being asked for a card before creating an account, and not finding how to edit or reschedule an order. One wrote that “the drycleaners had my suit ready, waiting for payment, however there was nothing clearly telling me what was the matter.” Missing features was the largest negative theme in our sample (24 mentions), and there were 10 mentions related to cancellation or contracts.
The developer replied to about 3% of the Google Play reviews we sampled.
Why carpet cleaners choose ProTakip
Twenty-two years of cleaning businesses that work at the door. ProTakip's team has built software for carpet-cleaning businesses since the bank POS terminal days, when we put order taking and receipt printing on a terminal the crew carried to the customer. Today's app is the third generation of that work, used by carpet, rug and upholstery cleaners in Türkiye and internationally, and it starts from the van and the phone rather than the counter.
One full app on every device. Android, iPhone and the web run from a single codebase, and every platform gets the same version on the same day. The owner, the driver and the counter see the same screens.
A workflow that follows the order. Received → in wash → ready → out for delivery → delivered, with a list for each stage and an all-operations board. At pickup you photograph each item, which settles damage disputes before they start, price it per square metre or per item, and print a QR label with its place in the order ("3 / 7") and a receipt on a Bluetooth thermal printer from the phone. See how this works for a laundry counter on our dry cleaning software page.
Customers informed without phone calls. Automatic SMS and WhatsApp messages go out at every stage, including for international customers, with a tracking link. There is a WhatsApp Business inbox, bulk SMS and satisfaction surveys; our guide to customer notifications on WhatsApp explains the setup.
Know who is calling on Android. With Caller ID on Android, a card appears before the phone rings showing the customer's name, address, balance and open orders. It works with the app closed and with no signal; the office PC gets it via a switchboard integration or a USB caller-ID device.
- Automatic route optimisation for delivery days, with map navigation and vehicle GPS tracking.
- One flat fee: unlimited users, no annual contract, no setup fee, no per-technician charge. Your data is yours.
- Free migration of your customers and orders, done by our team.
- Live human support for every account in the in-app chat, backed by an AI assistant and remote screen-share.
- Rated 5.0 on Google Play (37 reviews) and 4.98 on the App Store (46 ratings) as of September 2026, rated by the business owners who use it; all 42 written reviews are five stars, and we reply to about 96% of Play reviews.

Head-to-head: the five differences that decide it
ProTakip comes out ahead on each of the five points below for a small carpet-cleaning business; each one ends with what it means for your crew.
Pricing model: order volume versus one flat fee
CleanCloud charges by orders per month, from about $99 for 500 orders to about $335 for 10,000, with SMS and Journey credits on top, and delivery tools begin at Pro. ProTakip charges one flat monthly fee with unlimited users and every feature. The consequence: a small team on ProTakip gets delivery, routes and Caller ID without climbing a tier. Our guide to choosing cleaning software has a checklist for the calculation.
Counter POS versus a phone-first field app
CleanCloud's centre of gravity is the shop counter: a POS with stations and assembly tools, plus separate apps for customers and drivers. ProTakip's centre is the phone in the owner's hand, with the same app on Android, iPhone and web. The consequence: a team that collects rugs from homes, prices on the doorstep and prints labels in the van never has to go back to a terminal.
Contracts and flexibility
Three of CleanCloud's four plans are month-to-month; Grow+, the one with the branded app and account manager, requires a 12-month commitment. ProTakip has no annual contract on any plan and no setup fee, and the first three months are free with no card required. The consequence: on ProTakip no feature is held behind a yearly commitment.
Customer notifications: paid credits versus messages included
CleanCloud's website lists SMS, email, push and WhatsApp order updates, with SMS credits and Journey credits billed on top of the plan. ProTakip sends SMS and WhatsApp messages automatically at every stage, gives customers a tracking link, and adds a WhatsApp inbox and satisfaction surveys. The consequence for a carpet cleaner, whose customer waits days for a rug: stage messages on the channel the customer reads, plus Caller ID on Android, make most “is it ready?” calls unnecessary.
Industry fit: garments and laundry versus rugs and home services
CleanCloud is designed around garments and wash-and-fold: per-item tickets, assembly, subscriptions and marketplace orders from Uber and DoorDash. ProTakip was built for carpet and rug cleaning first, with per-square-metre pricing, photos at pickup, pickup and delivery lists and route optimisation, and it also serves dry cleaning, upholstery and home cleaning. See our carpet cleaning software overview. The consequence: rug work is the default, not an adaptation.
Why ProTakip is the best CleanCloud alternative for a small carpet-cleaning business
ProTakip is carpet cleaning software and cleaning business software for one-to-fifteen-person teams; this is why it is the best CleanCloud alternative for that business.
We built ProTakip for the small carpet, rug, upholstery or dry-cleaning business of one to fifteen people that works mostly in the field, collecting and delivering from customers' homes. If that is you, ProTakip is the more practical CleanCloud alternative: a counter POS does not follow you into the van, and ProTakip does.
It is the better choice when you need pickup and delivery tracking, photos and QR labels printed at the door, and route optimisation without moving to a higher plan; when you want automatic SMS and WhatsApp updates, at home or abroad; when you want to see who is calling on Android before you answer, even with no signal; and when you want one flat price with unlimited users and no annual contract anywhere in the product. A note from the founder. We built ProTakip for carpet-cleaning owners tired of paying for every new hire and fighting menus made for other trades. No sales pitch: use it free for three months with your whole team, no card needed. If it works for you, it is $20 a month. If it doesn't, you leave, and your data is yours.
Start free for three months, no card required: download ProTakip and run your next week of orders on it — the same full app on Android, iPhone and web, unlimited users, no contract.
Switching from CleanCloud to ProTakip without losing your history
You do not re-type anything. Our team imports your customers and order history for free, so addresses and notes arrive ready to use. Then run both systems side by side for two weeks: new orders go into ProTakip, older ones finish in CleanCloud, and staff learn during normal work. Because the first three months are free, the overlap costs nothing on our side; when everyone is comfortable, cancel CleanCloud.
Plan your delivery days with our delivery scheduling and route planning guide, and follow the step-by-step guide to switching software and migrating your data. One thing to arrange before you switch: ProTakip does not process card payments, so keep your existing card terminal or payment method; our payment collection guide covers the options.
Frequently asked questions
How much does CleanCloud cost compared with ProTakip?
As reported in September 2026, CleanCloud prices by monthly order volume: Lite about $99 for 500 orders (about $1,188 a year), Pro about $129 for 2,000 ($1,548), Grow about $189 for 3,000 ($2,268) and Grow+ about $335 for 10,000 ($4,020) on a 12-month term, with SMS credits billed extra and delivery tools starting at Pro. ProTakip is one flat monthly fee with unlimited users and all features, no annual contract, and the first three months free.
Is CleanCloud or ProTakip better for carpet and rug cleaning?
ProTakip, for two reasons. First, it was built for that trade: pricing per square metre or per item, pickup and delivery lists, photos of each rug at pickup and QR labels and receipts printed from the phone. Second, it runs the business from the van, with one flat fee that includes route optimisation, Caller ID on Android and automatic SMS and WhatsApp updates. CleanCloud is designed around dry-cleaning and laundry counters.
Does CleanCloud have a free plan?
According to the vendor data we checked in September 2026, CleanCloud has no free plan but offers a 14-day free trial, and some sources report annual billing discounts of up to 20%. ProTakip does not have a permanent free plan either; instead the first three months are free with every feature, and you can start without a credit card.
Can I move my data from CleanCloud to ProTakip?
Yes. The ProTakip team migrates your customer lists and orders for you at no charge. Export your customer and order data, send it over, and run both systems side by side for two weeks during the free first three months, so staff switch over gradually without losing history or interrupting pickups and deliveries.
Why do CleanCloud reviews mention pickups and laundry bags?
Many reviews on CleanCloud's store listings come from end consumers who use the CleanCloud customer app to order from their local laundry or dry cleaner. Their complaints often concern that laundry's service, such as missed pickups or missing items, rather than the software a business owner uses. ProTakip's store ratings of 5.0 and 4.98 come from the business owners who run it.
CleanCloud is a trademark of its respective owner. ProTakip is not affiliated with or endorsed by CleanCloud. Competitor pricing and ratings are as published on the vendor's website or app stores on 27 September 2026 and may change.
